The lightest and loveliest non-sticky gloss for your lids, cheeks and lips

The 10-Minute Makeup Must-Haves series shows off some of *the best* makeup for speedy (but sensational!) skin, eyes, cheeks and lips.

Oh, how do I love 10-minute makeup? Let me count the ways… LOL.

I’ll spare you the lengthy soliloquy, but here’s the gist of it: I like putting on a full face without spending HELLA YEARS applying and blending. Sometimes it’s just nice to do a quick makeup look that doesn’t look like a rush job. That said, even *I* get a little tired 😴 of doing the same brown smoky eye with peachy coral cheeks and a nude lip every day… I mean, I LOVE THAT LOOK, but sometimes you need to switch things up when you’re feeling “makeup restless,” ya know?

That’s where these new NARS Multi-Use Glosses come into play…

These glittery glosses are limited edition and available now on the NARS website for $24 each, so if you see something you like, you better grab it sooner than later because they won’t be around forever.

They feel like lip gloss and look like lip gloss, but you can wear them on your lips (of course), your eyes and your face (as a highlighter!).

My favorite shade is Relentless, the rose-gold with tiny flecks of glitter.

The applicator is a thin, flexible paddle.

All five of have the daintiest flecks of graceful glitter, so they sparkle and shine, which kicks them up a level.

I think the best thing about them, though, is that you can’t even feel them on your skin. They’re super lightweight! They don’t feel thick or heavy like many eye glosses do (ahem, MAC). These don’t just plop down on your lids.

Really, I can’t even feel them on my eyes, and sometimes I forget they’re there, which *never* happens with eye gloss.

Now, how does a gloss like this fit in with the whole 10-minute makeup thing? Well, multipurpose face glosses like these are great when you want to do a dewy, glowing, glossy, almost high-fashion look. You can easily knock out a look like that in a 10-minute window.

I’m wearing Relentlesss on my lids with a couple coats of Wander Beauty Mile High Club Mascara on my lashes. The blush is Clinique Chubby Stick in Amp’d Up Apple, and the lipstick is MAC Patisserie. I’m also wearing a tiny bit of concealer on the inner corners (Maybelline Instant Age Rewind in Golden).

First, start by curling your lashes, and you want to do this before the gloss so your lash curler doesn’t get all “goopy.”

Then, pat the thin paddle applicator directly on bare lids (don’t even bother with eyeshadow or primer, since the gloss will just break them down).

Next, then blend the edges with a finger.

After that, take any leftover product on your finger, and pat it on the high points of your cheekbones and down the bridge of your nose.

Finish with waterproof mascara (waterproof to keep the gloss from “eating” your mascara), a bit of concealer dabbed in the inner corners of your eyes, cream blush blended on the apples of your cheeks, and a creamy nude or bright lipstick to keep the overall look fresh and dewy. 😊
